Over the phone? Not sure why they didn't bother doing mine on the phone - not like I can't afford it - they just phoned and said I need to take documentation into the store.

Check out the thread on XDA, apparently the second slot gets blocked with a plastic insert, you can remove with tweezers.
By following the software update pattern before rooting, the second imei gets visible and phone becomes dual sim.
Will wait for obf to expire before attempting it.

What is the latest Android that Vodacom has for it? It looks like it comes with marshmallow, but that is three versions old now.

It's a good deal considering the price, but it's still a phone with 2-year old midrange specs. The lack of any software updates and subpar performance means I won't consider it. Still cool to show off I guess.

I took delivery of the phone a while back already. And I'm pretty sure I ordered after this thread started. Phone is very nice. Really enjoying thus far.
