CAT5e to RJ-11?

Hi all,

I learned this a few years back but cannot seem to remember how it works. How does one use a normal CAT5e cable to make a RJ-11 line. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

For a telephone cable? They usually only use 2 wires, the two middle pins on an RJ11. Nothing complicated.

And the two wires that you use should be a twisted pair. eg orange and orange-white.
