Cataclysm Help needed !

Hey everyone, i need some serious info on how i can get my WOTLK patched up to play again.. First of all i bought the classic and all expansions exept Cataclysm, i dont plan on playing cataclysm, but i have updated my client so far to version 4.0.1.13205 and i see i have to download an INSANE file size (4.3gb) to play WOTLK, is their anyone who can help me getting this to download a smaller file?
Also i have downloaded non streaming patches:
wow-4.0.0.12911-to-4.0.1.13164-engb-patch (CLIENT PATCH uses the updater)
wow-4.0.1.13164-to-4.0.1.13205-engb-patch (CLIENT PATCH uses the updater)
wow-update-13287eu (manualy install downloaded from DO gamming)
wow-update13329eu (manualy install downloaded from DO gamming)

but the two patches i downloaded from DO gamming arent working as it suppose to, it is said that they should be placed in their correct directories and use the launcher to install, but even when i add them, all it does it download 4.3gb
i realy realy need help with this, thanks for reading.
 
Try running the manual install files you downloaded from DO and see what error pops up. Either theres missing or incomplete files or it will say you have either a newer or older version and need another version to use that file. Hope that helps
 
Just copy the install directory from somebody.

No error pops up, when i added the files NOTHING, happened at all, it was just a plain waste
 
Well in that case i'm with crowly , try get someone to copy their game directory for you.

I'm not sure if it's worth paying the monthly subs if you arnt going to play cataclysm. It's going to get very lonely at lvl 80.
 
Anybody can orgonise patches in cape town? i will be able to come with hard drive?
 
Ok i just bought cataclysm, and now i am hearing that i gota download a 8gb file... WTF WTF WTF...
 
i regret buying cataclysm, and wow itself, pay so much in return for so little, now suddenly a 13gb file to download and my ping is 1200, i aint even downloading the patches, coz i can see the downloading icon isnt showing
