Caught my staff stealing again.

It doesnt matter how poor you are, you'd hate being robbed. That's the core of my moral arguments today. The point? Those who steal are either hypocrites, because they do not act in accordance to what they really believe (because nobody wants to be robbed, therefore nobody should want to rob) and sometimes even teach; or they're misinformed and/or lack these basic reciprocating facts about life... whether they can justify their acts in their own minds for whatever reason, this still stands. If you don't agree, please provide your reasons. If necessary, we can take this to another thread, because honestly we've kinda taken this thread off its original purpose... so apologies to the OP from my side for that

Was the culprit handed over to the police, prosecuted and found guilty?

Criminal investigation is pending, the outcome has no effect on the hearing outcome due to the way it was handled. If she was found guilty then it would be a no-brainer. Already her first attempt to get a CCMA hearing was turned down after the guy doing the hearing found why she got dismissed. Her second attempt which was done on the last day for her to submit a request to the CCMA, she claimed a different story.

Joke is she is screwing herself over by going to CCMA as people talk and especially people in her community. She will also never get a job at a qualified business like my wifes (SETA hairsalon) and will only every be able to work from home or work for an uncredited business - which means a very low income.

Also considering that my wife is the highest paying hair salon in our area, this staff member has totally done herself in.

What a friend of mine did few years back. He caught a staff member stealing and wanted to fire her but the law at that time was 3 strikes before you can fire.
He started to treat her and show her that she was not wanted by giving her difficult things to do. He made her sweep and mop and clean up most of the time. He made it so bad that she left on her own without having to pay her a cent.
