Caution - I've just bought a Mikrotik routerboard

Nobody told me I'd have to learn linux just to operate it. So over the past few days I've been learning about iptables, DHCP, NAT and so on. I now fear that I may never get laid again. Is there any way to unlearn linux? I never wanted to be a sysadmin, all I wanted was a working router. Help?

Not that buying the Mikrotik box has helped. By the time I know enough to operate it, I'll be able to turn a toaster into a functioning router

Been there done that!!! Think I used the RB33 or somthing like that. Had 3 cards in it, was a flippin hastle to get going! But eventually sorted it out, never used its full potential though. Too much to learn!

Had one card running as an AP and the other two cards as bridges, wired to my Lynksys, shared my iBurst with the family over pinetown. We must have had about 3km or more gap to bridge. So we used dishes rather than yagi's. But alas, pulled it all down to move, just sits in a box somewhere now!
