I have 4 X Hikvision 2MP Bullet Cams (DS-2CE16D0T-IRF) which I plan to expand with another two cams at a later stage. Currently I have these 4 cams powered by a entry level 1.5A PSU Adapter. Which work fine for now, but I believe I need something better when I put on the other two cams. So I bought this PSU from Takealot Link It only last a day before it cause heavy lines / noises on my 4 Cams. So I put back the entry level PSU Adapter and everything was working perfect. I returned the other PSU from Takealot and got refunded. What it a good option PSU I can buy to accommodate all 6 cams?

That 9-Way PSU you got from Takealot is industry standard and should work fine, but the price there seems too cheap. You need something similar, try looking for another brand.

Ya, it was only working for a day, then it started to give some problems. Maybe just a bad quality product? Was looking at this option Link Not sure if this is a better option...

Yep, Securi-Prod is a well-known brand in the industry.

Might opt for that option then rather. That is what they always says: buying cheap is not always the best.

Price on the Securi Prod PSU?
Price is R666... excuse my bad attempt at humor haha

on topic though, won’t go wrong with securi prod. Think I should add some pics of the warehouse install we’re doing next week.

I found Geewiz the cheapest. Regal quote me over a R1000 :(

Regal pricing has not been impressive at all. Have been avoiding them.

geewizz is the way to go.

I have the same one... Fuses kept blowing on a few of the channels, so now I have 4 cameras powered that 9 channel psu, and another 3 cameras using a normal power adapter. It's a piece of junk.

I'm busy replacing all mine with IP cameras now, tired of dealing with power issues when I can just power with POE.

Yes that is the better option the POE way. Just a pity it is so expensive. :( I will see how the new PSU from Securi-Prod will perform. Will test it the weekend.
