If it goes over into a neigbours yard, forget the bylaws, your neighbour might moer you for spying on his wife. I'm assuming you mean into the street maybe? I don't think anybody would care, you could argue its like planting a tree and the branches stick out over the boundary. Just do it, if somebody complains and you get threatened with a fine, then take it down.Quick question.
If I install a pole in my yard, with another arm on the pole the goes over my boundary lines, then install a camera, would I be breaking a municipal law?
Provision AHD
16 channel with 9 outside cameras 1.3 to 2Meg

Quick question.

How much did you pay for the camera's? Is the picture quality good?I do...
HikVision DS-2CD series IP camera. Mainly used for watching the maid and to see when she takes chances i.e. leaving early, arriving late, etc..
Where are you based?
Note the above screenshots are from the app on my tablet and are the substream quality. At home I can post the screenshots from my browser.
Go IP, thats my advice.
About 5yrs agoWhat did this setup cost you?

No it's not me, but this other guy that thinks he runs the shows in the neighbourhood (the big bad bully) has an arm extending out of the pole that is in his yard, and on this arm, are cameras that protrudes into municipal space, and therefore, not on his own ERF or behind his boundary. Is that legal?
Trees on the other hand are natural and can be trimmed whereas his pole and metal arms from the pole can't be trimmed.
What is the best way to broadcast the HDMI signals from my 2 DVRs to a TV screen where one could then just select the HDMI source to switch between the displays? Wired LAN available. the DVRs are at front and back side of house, the TV in the middle.
