CDs Making a Comeback?

i have digitised my entire CD collection to FLAC plus tagged the whole lot too - it took me a year or three of doing like 4 to 5 CDs per day to do it but IMHO it was way worth it - i don't have to stream music since i'm not into the newer crap that passes as music nowadays - im more into the eighties and nineties stuff and i have enough of it in my collection to last me till i die and i probably wont ever listen to it all twice before i die anyway given that i'm close to 60 now
All available for streaming by all major providers.

Nothing like just typing in The Cure or Depeche Mode on my app and pouring that Whisky.

I suppose people don't get it yet. The primary purpose of my smartwatch is for fitness tracking - therefore, it is convenient that I don't have to carry a second device (phone) for music / podcasts / audiobooks etc if I don't have to.
That also solves the problem of potentially getting mugged / robbed of my phone while out running as well.

Still collect cd's and vinyl, especially that of musician friends

You know you can just upload it to YouTube music.

an how do you listen to the stuff on the day that the internet s not working - besides i was a DJ back in the day - i have remixes and extended remixes and singles that most of the streaming services wouldn't have, and i used to listen to lots of artists that these sevices don't even know exist

Spotify has an offline function/setting.

My point, which you purposely ignored, is that you so not have to "carry" a phone while walking/jogging/running in the gym.
So the phone flies there by itself. Cool.

Also, I listed three activities - walking (or) running (or) at the gym. I hope my phone will fly after me everywhere I go because out of all my fitness activities, I spent the least of my time AT the gym.

Not sure what you're on about with your flying phone analogy.

YOU said the watch is for use in the gym when running or walking since then you do not have to carry your phone around.
Me response was that when doing those activities at the gym, you do not have to carry your phone.

No suddenly you have all these other activities and the gym, which YOU mentioned as an excuse for using that silly little watch of yours, is no longer a factor.

Using a smart watch for anything but tracking movement, health stuff and gym, makes you look like as much a tit as walking around with a Leatherman attached to your belt.

I don't see the need for a smart watch either. Most people have them as a cooler-as-ekke piece, a status symbol.
