No, corruption is corruption and you're right to react to it. But I think it's healthy to keep your perceptions in tact. The A.N.C are corrupt because people in power all over the world are corrupt. Power corrupts and that goes for everyone. It's human nature. I can't help but feel people project a racial thing onto the corruption of the A.N.C which makes me sad. But as I said, people are falible.

Show me anything tangible that shows the A.N.C are doing this. Show me the clause within any proposal that will give them this power. All this melodramatic hype is truly about nothing in my opinion.

This idea that the A.N.C is filled with people bent on destruction, some sort of cheer leaders for armageddon makes for colourful newspapers, but really does not meet the profile of reality. Kader Asmal , Barbara Hogan, Trevor Manuel and the crew might be chumps, but they're not really trying to kill you.

The average man on the street doesn't have a job and doesn't pay taxes. Those who are paying the taxes want to contest all this corruption. We don't minding building houses for the man on the street... but we do mind all of our hard earned money going into some greedy ANC fatcat's wallet.

Obviously the ANC has done more than any other government! The only benchmark is the racist NP!

We can be fairly certain the DA given the opportunity would do a better job for the average man and the country as a whole, as they're starting to prove in the WC.

I agree. They with the gift of hinsight (what not to do, from both the NP and A.N.C) would do a better job. They however will never get voted into power. The majority of this country have no trust in a white government. And frankly who could blame them given what we did last time they got power ? And to push it a step further, the types of sentiments and nostaliga expressed on this forum suggest a certain group of them are quite quite willing to do it again.

The bourgeoisie are the middle classed, 50% white and black at this stage. Of their numbers perhaps 0.1 % make up politicians.

But seriously, do you dare even suggest the period between 1994 (more specifically 1998-2007) were not the most robust period of economic growth the country has ever had ?

I wouldn't be so lenient. They're full of a significant amount of people who are quite aware of how corrupt and sinister they are being. But they're far removed from the type of people who are encouraging genocide and other such silly things as many parnanoid whites suggest. If you think I'm making this up some fool last night asked me if I'd heard about "Siener Van Resnburg". To save myself the headache I wrote him off as a lost cause and changed the topic and started to tell him about the wonderful opportunities even uneducated people could have working overseas. I hope he takes my advice.
