Cell c 140 system cannot put me through to operator

So my laptop bag with my life in,got stolen today.

I need to phone 140 to block my data sim. So I dial 140, it turns Afrikaans (why, I have always had English?)
I choose option 3 for lost or stolen phones, then 2 to block a sim.

Then it tells me its connecting me to a consultant (which may not be able to help me in Afrikaans?) And immediately afterwards tells me the system cannot perform that service now.no amount of redialing, choosing 9 etc is helping.

Thank you Cell c for making my day even more frustrating.

What do I do?

Got through this morning.
Now they tell me I need an affidavit and proof of residence and temp ID to do a sim swop.
Really an affidavit for a sim swop?
Is a temporary ID not a legal document anymore?
 
Also FYI cell c direct still has not phoned me back to confirm that I can upgrade to the nexus phone on my RBM contract. After the stores told me they did not stock the nexus anymore.
