Cell C 24Gb promotion

Hi Guys

I bought of of these 24Gb promotions from CELL C.Ok so I read it is 2GB per month for
12 months, so if I activate it on the 20th of the month does it mean that on the
31st my first 2Gb expires or is it on the 20th of the next month.

Also can the data carry over.

@dd1313 Honestly,are you letting CellC to keep you awake at 1 in the morning? (judging by the time of your post) Indeed,all your questions should have been sorted at the time when you bought the package. I for one doubt you did buy into cellc's offer. They are very carefull explaining all that and more. Plus they let you sign that you understand it all. A copy of your ID book and proof of residence! will be used to Rica the sim card. You can't just by into this deal as you buy air time over the counter. Is more like when you buy a cell contract only that you pay upfront. If you ask in here questions like you are asking, that only prove that you did not buy it and the other forum members will realize that and ridicule you. Just a thought.

I purchased this 24Gb data package some months back for my iPad 2...
From what the guy explained to me, its works from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month.
I signed up on the 10th of a month and he explained that that month I would get 2Gb for free as the "billing cycle" only kicks in from the first.

In the first month of your allocation/activation you get 2GB till the end of the month. However you still get 12 allocations. In essence it means your first 2GB data in your month of activation is free. Or that is how I understood it anyway.

That's correct PB.

I also bought my package in February this year and didn't sign anything stating "how it works", so it is a legitimate question.

They where not supposed to sell it to you without explaining (and you signing) the "Terms and Conditions". If any shop does that it can and should be reported! But then again,I am sure you forgot from which shop you got it

bought like any other product from Esquire.And we complain of Malema @ times.

Don't stress OP....

1. you have an extra 2 GB till the end of this month.
2. Than on the 1st your data gets reset and your first month of data is given to you.
3. you get an extra 2GB basically.

Please note the above applies to the prepaid promotion only. I think the contract is billed pro rata. welcome to Broadband or as Cell C calls it 4Gs.

Hogwash, I have purchased 2 separate bundles from two different outlets, all they have checked is whether I have cover (which I confirmed with them myself anyway), no other explanations provided, non necessary, I can read T&C's on the website. They RICA's the sims, I paid and they handed over the package. Deal done simple.

the First month from the 20th to the 31 will be a grace period.
Your data will only start from the 1. but from there on will expire on the last day of the month.

Is there a simple way to check when your bundle expires ? I have a few that I bought at different times !
