Good afternoon.

I'm trying to share my Cell C broadband connection via Connectifyme. Has anyone managed to do this on a computer running Windows 7 Home Basic?

The Connectifyme dashboard only gives me the following options for Internet sharing:
- Wireless Network Connection
- Bluetooth Network Connection
- Local Area Connection

I've spent hours changing settings, but have not been able to share the Cell C broadband connection. According to the connectifyme introductory video it should take only 5 minutes to set up your hotspot, so either I am a complete idiot or there is some obscure box that isn't ticked somewhere!

I'm using Ultimate, before I was using Home Premium, and Connectify also worked for me.

Ok, so it seems I might be an idiot!

Could you please just tell me what option I should pick on the connectify dashboard settings next to the internet box. Should I have the option of "Mobile Broadband Connection" or should I select the "Wireless Network Connection"?

Did you manage to solve this?
I am having a similar problem where "mobile broadband connection" is not showing as an internet option in Connectify

Just save yourself the trouble and buy yourself a 3G router and you sorted for only R469 money will be well spent promise. ICS is a bitch at first spent over an hour or 2 but u will get the hang of it if u take ur time.

Firstly, I am using connectify on a work computer, so spending my own money is not something that I want to do.
Secondly, if you managed to get ICS working, how about telling the method, instead of just stating that we will "get the hang of it"?

I seem to have found a solution...
Download Connectify v1.2 and replace your later version with this earlier version.
I did this, and Connectify now picks up the "Mobile Broadband Connection".
I got v1.2 from here.

Also. you need to ensure that Windows Firewall is enabled. For some reason, Windows 7 won't allow ICS unless Windows Firewall is active.
