Cell C and Whatsapp

Hi everyone,

I use Cell C on my nokia phone, I have been trying to send messages on whatsapp via Cell C network tonight. messages are not going through, can't change my status update either. i tried changing the network to GSM only, UTMS only and they both give the same result.

Is Cell C having network issues with whatsapp at this time? Or is whatsapp down?

Whatsapp is down. I'm on MTN, not getting anything through. Someone else also mentioned a whatsapp connection problem in another thread.

It's back. For me and a few friends, at least.

and because you cant switch whatsapp off on symbian, it drains my battery trying to connect all the time...

I know, my Nokia phone's battery also runs down so quickly....I charge it, full before I sleep, in the morning, when I wake up, battery low.

Yeah.. I don't think you can switch off whatsapp on any phone... that's how it was designed "Instead" IM.

I am sure if you turn off your data services when you are not using what’s app you will save battery power.
