Anybody else getting data bundle warnings for no reason?

Today is the 3rd December I have a 350MB data bundle. According to my phone i have only used about 30Mb.

I am getting a warning sms to say you only have 15 MB left and that i need to buy another bundle etc.

This is not the first this this has happened. It happens all the time. I appreciate that you are trying to prevent people getting an out of bundle shock, but come on, sort out your systems.

I've only had that happen when I bought different data bundles, daily data bundles, normal 30 day data bundles, and Nite bundles. In the middle of browsing when one of them gets low I receive this message, even though there's some left for other bundle types. But never when I had only one type of data bundle in use.

I keep getting them at odd times as well, although it seems to happen when a bundle gets below 10%. The first time I had a big skrik, but now I appreciate the early warning.

Actually their system is accurate in my own experience, you must be getting a warning about data that you haven't used from your previous bundle.Did you have a bundle before this and did you check that it was completely used up before you got the 350mb?

I completely burnt through the 350Mb bundle, went over. So cant be any left overs.

Hmm seems like nobody else is having an issue with their warning system - just me

Yep out of 15-18 million subscribers it would be easy for even a couple hundred to have bugs from time to time.If its irritating you too much maybe give them a call and speak to somebody in the technical department to see if they can sort it out for you.

I have consistently been getting the sms messages over the last few months that a data bundle is depleted and I should buy another. Yet... I still have a lot of data.

How many data bundles do you have active?

Hi Ecco

If you have several bundles attached to your number, our system will alert you on the particular bundle that is about to be depleted hence the message would normally state that one of your bundles has depleted........etc

But if you would like us to check and verify, please DM the number in question.

I am happy and satisfied with the current SMS warning system.

Found that you can get a groot skrik especially when you have loaded two data bundles. The SMS will come through when the first data bundle is about to be depleted.

Suggestion - when loading two data bundles, don't load the second bundle on the same day, but a bit later so they won't expire on the same date.

I also found the warning system works well. You must have an older bundles that was about to run out.
