I did a speedtest for a friend on Vodacom on an iPhone 4, it made 6.2Mbs DL! The phone is only measured upto 7.2Mbs.
I had 17Mbs DL on my iPhone 5 on 3G.

That wouldn't be 3G.

HSPA yes, that's what I meant. Technically 3G is only until 384kbps so to be pedantic it's 3.5G (or 3G+ or or or).

HSPA yes. Depends on your naming convention I guess. I stick with the "3G upto 384kbps" school.

Still 3G. just like 56k was still dialup, same as 300bps acoustic couplers... (Now who remembers THAT? Shall we play a game?)
