It is impossible to phone Esquire in Cape Town from a Cell C sim card. Esquire's ph. number is 021 555 0001 and if you attempt to phone them from Cell C you just get an automated voice message saying:
"You number you have dialed does not exist. Please redial carefully or consult directory enquiries."
From a Telkom/8ta/MTN/Vodacom/WTFyouwant-akom line you can get through, but not Cell C. A month ago I made numerous calls to Cell C customer care to make them aware of this. Nobody had enough brain cells to understand what the problem was, but I was promised that I would receive a call back from Cell C once they had looked into it.
How can this still be an issue a month later? Are Cell C's technical staff really that incompetent?! :wtf:
