Cell C is insolvent
Cell C released its latest financial results this week, which revealed that the mobile operator remains hopelessly insolvent despite the recapitalisation in September 2022.

I still don't understand how they have managed to keep operating all these years.

Didnt they recently say they dont want prepaid customers on their network... ok then

From an outsider's perspective, how are they allowed to do business? WTH would you pump in cash?

If Cell C were to close down or be bought by another operator I wonder what would happen to all the VMNO's that run on Cell C?

I remember it as a bEE company. So another anc success bEE story.

The fact that they hide discounted data deals on their website is one of the reasons why they don't make money. Some data deals are more expensive than other networks and their network performance and reception has gotten worse.

Nah.. They don't make money cos they're shyte and made fscking stupid business decisions.

Your connections drop like flies and break up like an ANC congress and people are going to throw the sim card away and get a red or yellow or blue one.

I punted them for years, supported them over Vodascum, but their product is ****, hardly ever signal and data speeds are shocking

Been using them for almost ten years now. Their prepaid long-term data deals are pretty good.

My Wife lives them, be buggered if I understand why, but yeah, she is happy ... so ja
