Since yesterday my cell C LTE from Axxess has been aweful! Speeds while downloading is only around 2Mbps where its normally around 15Mbps or over.

I also have a cell C sim card and it's also so painfull slow. Contacted Axxess and there are no outages in the area and nothing wrong.

I also queried to cancel the month to month LTE I have with them and they want to charge me a whopping R900 odd to cancel. My Vodacom sim card speed is running at nothing under 45Mbps.

This morning speed has picked to to 6Mbps with cell c. What the Fark is going on with Cell C. Cant even cancel it now and have to wait till Cell C does away with the fixed LTE

Is anyone else noticing a severe decline in their network?

Their service has been extremely shocking lately. Its gone from bad to almost unusable. And this time its not just Youtube and Netflix, its pretty much everything

Thanks. I thought something was up with cell c. Speed tests are always so fast.

Wonder if its going to get better cause last night I couldn't even stream Showmax. Buffers every 5 or so mins for about 5mins:notworthy:

Cut your losses and pay the effing cancellation fee. Atleast, that's what I did. These people are entirely useless in providing help and the situation isn't gonna get any better. I was paying R850 a month for 200gb and couldn't even stream music

Will Axxess be switching off there CellC packages at the end of October? If they are, maybe just see if they cant move you over to a Telkom package and let you keep the router without paying the cancellation fee.
The other option is cancel the Cell C package, pay the cancellation, get the Telkom package with a free LTE router, and sell the other router to cover the cancellation fee.

I'd rather go with Axxess which now has a sim-only option and keep the router.

Network has been degrading for past year. Do you have a number or email address you used to ask about cancelling? My contract runs until March next year but I'm going try canxel early because the lte has become so useless.

Well, that's why I say, if you got the router, you could sell that to cover the costs.

And then bind yourself to another 6-months and a worse router. Either way, you'd lose I think...

I called them on this number 0861300900. Was pretty annoyed about the cancellation fee. Only if I have been with them for more than 6 months then there is no fee.

Telkom LTE is not in my area yet. I'm considering going with Vodacom or Mtn as signal is fantastic here. Will research more before I sign myself into anything.

Yeah if it carries on like this I might just bite the bullet and cancel. Pointless having it if you can only browse web pages.
