Unfortunately as an Autopage Cellular "customer" I am NOT able to get data balances via SMS, USSD (on the Cell C PC Application) :(

Actual, real, legitimate mobile development. Web (HTML5) and Android. From scratch. I don't just kang things together like these Silicon Cape chops and call it my own.
 
Can't say I am impressed by any of this. Before rolling out all these fancy products, they should get the more basic stuff working properly meaning;

1) A decent voice network
2) Stabilise their "4Gs" network. I'm in Randburg, beginning of December I was getting 3Mb/sec up and download, I now generally get less than 2Mb/s up and down
3) Why does the CellC tech rep tell me they will get back to me within a hour when they know and I know that they wont get back to me that day or even that week?
4) A helpdesk that actually works. It was great back in 2006/2007, now it just sucks

There has been much said about why Voda and MTN have not responded to CellC's speedstick promotion pricing. The reason is simple. For MTN and Voda price cuts would be permanent, competition from Cell C is temporary in the sense that they are waiting for Cell C's service to implode. Previously I gave Cell C the benefit of the doubt but not anymore.

Cell C was handing out micro SIMs at the Silicon Cape event, so it seems they do.

Same problem - I refuse to remove my sim card - so I email cellc and make them look it UP and every time i get sent instructions with pictures on how to get the balance from there software - when i am using and interal laptop modem and not using their software
Maybe if we all start spamming support with queries 15times a day they will do something (i have an email address of the guy that helps me) :)
