Cell C network problems explained

Wonder what the explanation for the rest of the country is... I'm still having the same issues with full signal and no data.
 
What about the ongoing data problems in Bloemfontein? I'm sorry but I'm switching networks when my data expires.

I have had the same problems intermittently since August. An e-mail to the helpdesk sorted it out. No explanation, though.

New problems on Sunday - full cell signal, but no data. Had to set my phone to CellC network, not roaming. Solved.
 
I was in Roodepoort on Wednesday and data throughput was stagnant. Could hardly load any webpage. Then yesterday evening, it was blazingly fast.
 
I get so angry when i see this.. These bastards stole my money and just keep ignoring me... Months later and multiple sim swaps that i had to pay for its still not working today! You suck cell c! Oh and the cell c reps here have taken my ref numbers a few times and still nothing
 
i have never had a connection on cell c lasting 30 minutes without breaking in the last 2 months, and its annoying yoh. Now I m with 8.ta no problemo.
 
They definitely have fixed something! :D

I ran a few speed tests throughout the day and this is around the average of what I'm getting:

Oh, and how do they explain the fact they their web portal has been down for almost an ENTIRE month without any explanation leaving many many users with no access to USSD without any way to check their balances? I can't believe a company can just ignore that fact that their entire customer management portal has been down for so long and yet not have anything to say about it? Are they just hoping that no one is going to notice?

Yep, Cell C-My Account has been out for weeks now. They sure have to fix and improve a lot of issues.
