Cell C Pinnacle 3 - Good Deal?

Hi All,
Really considering this SIM deal for unlimited calls, unlimited texts, 10GB anytime data for R999.
I am on Vodacom Smart XL and I have an extra 1GB addon for R149 and my bill comes to over R1500 (also financing my Note 5 and Gear S2). From a cost perspective this seems like a deal especially since Cell C will do a contract buyout.
I'm however concerned about connection issue and network coverage (I will also read the stickies on the forum). Anyone else on this and can vouch on this deal?
 
Cell C is ok in major metro areas, not good as you driving out major metros...
 
Cell C use Vodacom towers for voice and 3G data. Unless someone is using added-on non-roaming data packages, there should be no coverage issues.

Having used CellC while residing in a rural area, I can tell you that they are useless in rural areas, even if they roam on Voda
 
I am spending R2000-00 per month on VC, ****ty service, dropped calls, slow speeds.
I am now moving to Cell C, I owe R8k on my contract, Cell C will buy me out, will end up costing me R1350-00 per month on the unlimited contract and that includes the Samsung S7.
Thats real unlimited calling, SMS's and 10 gigs data.
And their OOB is 15 cents IIRC.
Vodacom can go suck a donkey d!ck

I am using all the major networks - voda, cellc, mtn - on different phones.
From experience Cell C is fine in my area, usually getting full signal bars on HSDPA (don't have LTE on that device)
MTN gets low reception for HSDPA and little/none for LTE on my phone. So I stick to GSM to save battery :cry:

I think it really just depends on your area. In all the major urban areas there should be no problems with network coverage though.
