yesterday I saw this,

firstly there is no such thing as a Blackberry Bold 9360. Its a Blackberry Curve 9360

The Bold range is a higher quality range, so you advertising something that its definitely NOT!

secondly, how do you justify advertising this as a touchscreen phone. its not. I had a huge argument yesterday with someone who argued that the 9360 IS a touchscreen... why? coz cell c said so. I told them to check the internet coz clearly ppl here dont give a cr@p

If there is a rep here, I think a response is in order

edit : and btw the 9360 ships with OS 7.0, not OS 6.0

Does no one proof their ads and promos before releasing? Perhaps their slogan in this case is very apt; "Cell C. For yourself because we can't be bothered to check ourselves..."

I've seen a lot of ad errors the past few years, so this isn't unique. It seems that 1) the marketing or communication team just sign off without checking or 2) the ad companies have full authority (which is even more dangerous).

Don't know if this has been done on purpose, but if that is the case this could lead to Cell C getting into some trouble..
