While I applaud Cell-C for their excellent pricing over the last few months.. I'm starting to become more and more disappointed that there has not been a reduction in their In Bundle Rate.

A R0.15 out of bundle rate is superb.

But if I am buying a bundle, Cell-C should offer me something less than R0.15

8ta's 2 + 1 Gig for R149 (soon to change) totally kills Cell-C here.. and its one of the reasons I've opted to remain with 8ta as I use more data than voice

Dear Cell-C,

Surely its time to do something... I really want to switch to your network but not until you offer better value on your SMARTDATA BUNDLES . . .

Signed,
Staying with 8ta

What do you guys think ?

WOW
after being raped for R2 per meg out of bundle, you beg for more?
seriously???

Im happy with cell c in/out bundle prices being the same
it makes it easier for me to manage usage without having to worry about how much data I have left or if its call more time or whatever special restriction it is.

Its simpler. If you want to complicate things I suggest you go to VC or MTN.

My issue isnt with the OOB rate... Why even sell bundles if all the rates across any bundle you purchase is exactly the same.

Cell-C can continue keeping things simple whilst offering more value to customers purchasing 1 Gig and higher bundle purchases.

Wow. Great Response. I am with 8ta. I'm simply offering Cell-C a view into what some potential customers are thinking. Maybe they might listen when they're ready to further grow market share.

This isnt about the OOB rate. Its the in-bundle rate that I think Cell-C should match.

Cell-C are running their whole advertising campaign around asking your network what price you're paying for CALLS. So I'm asking the question about DATA.

Let's take 8ta's 2 Gig + 1 Gig for R149 - even just taking the 2 Gig portion only at R149 - this is an in-bundle rate of R0.07

On Cell-C, we would pay R310 for 2 Gigs at an in-bundle rate of R0.15 . .

If you want the 7c rate you must pay for 2 Gig. If you use less you still pay for 2 Gig. Use more and you pay OOB rate. So you must use exactly 2 Gigs or lose.
If you buy a Cell C 50 meg bundle at R7.50 you pay for what you use at 15c. As long as you use 50 Meg or more.
Very convenient.

I agree, it convenient. You need to check just bundle expiry date, which is 30 days.

element1 compares 8ta special offers to Cell C standard bundle prices and not sure what wanted to say.

It seems 8ta new bundles (on my non-roaming SIM) are better:
250MB - R38 15.2c/MB
500MB - R69 13.8c/MB
1GB - R129 12.6c/MB
2GB - R249 12.3c/MB
