Cell C upgrade FEE

Its quite interesting to note that Cell C have changed all their packages, but they rip people
of by charging an upgrade fee if you renew a contract with them.

They changed the packages but the customer pays !


I just cancelled my contract.

Don't all the networks charge an upgrade fee? I worked at a vodashop in 2002 and we charged, IIRC, ±R180 per upgrade...

Pretty standard. If you cancelled and want another contract you're going to be paying a new connection fee, so don't really see the benefit.

There is plenty specials for new contracts with no connection fees. Just shop around.

if you do your upgrade per phone via cellc-direct there's no connection fee. zero. i've done several upgrades this way without any problems. and you get your phone within 2-7 days depending on the area your staying in.

the other networks charge R212 nomally.

i guess some people would never be happy!
