I'm due for an upgrade on 1st February, according to the customer call center and cannot wait to upgrade my aging phone. Now I've got a question and not really wanting to call them again, but when you upgrade to a higher tariff plan than the one you currently on, do they do a whole credit check and whatnot...?
Reason I'm asking, is I'm currently on straight up 100, and want to move up to a smart chat 3gb which will work out to R140 extra a month to what I'm on currently, but if they gonna do a credit check, then I won't get that as I've had a bad year last year, so it's not too rosy on that front....
Do any of you know if they usually do credit checks in this situations?
