Cell C WhatsApp data price hike

These SP's will continue to rip the public a new one because they can get away with it. They are all greedy little pigs.

Telkom Mo Nice 2.25 Gb for R28 Valid for 30 days. Now compare the Value.

You can use it for anything.

I cant see any sane person paying R30 for 1Gb whatsapp Bundle when better offers are available.

If Telkom rolls out the 2000 towers they planning then they are sure to get another 5 Million customers Joining them in the next 12 Months.
How do you get this? Its not on FNB or anything like that is it prepaid or what?

At this current time you're just being a cheap skate.
I am! and im not wrong for being this way, especially since I've lived in countries where internet is fast cheap and reliable. Its not wrong for us to want cheap accessible internet.

Can MyBroadBand please try and find out from MTN why they use a 20 day bundle as it's a real pain in the ass if you have a school child and have to remember to update every 20 days!!!
MTN is now 55% more expensive than Cell C, pathetic!!!
V = 2 * R35 = R70 for 60 Days
C = 2 * R29 = R58 for 60 Days
C = 3 * R30 = R90 for 60 Days, 55% more expensive!!!

Telkom Prepaid - Mo Nice *123# then you get offers.

Good offers will be coming through soon.

The service has not been consistent countrywide so I emailed the Technical guys.

They are looking into it and may expand it further.

i wana be able to dial *123# and be given the option to buy 1 gig for R1.

The cost of Mobile Data is around that figure !

Highly unlikely you will get that on Mobile anywhere in the World not even in India where Data is like R2 a Gigabyte.

Missed this notification. Just got the debit order for R50-something more on my account. NOICE. So glad I'm in Month 21 of this contract. Can't wait to be done with Cell C. The most frustrating part I have with this LTE contract of them is that any communication is sent to the SIM that the data is loaded on. That SIM is in an LTE router. I don't read SMSs on that LTE router. So if I ask for info, for instance if the network is down, they still send it to that number. I have no way of changing that.

Anyway, I'm almost done with them. FIBER TIME. Going to miss the flexibility of the LTE, but such is life.
