Cell C's 4Gs ASA appeal confirmed

No ways. I don't understand how you can call this boring?

I'm loving the way this whole thing has so far unfolded, and watching how the 3 mobile telcos slug it out and respond to each other. Both Vodacom and MTN have always been the bullies, against ICASA, the DOC, the ASA, Cell C, Gogga Mobile, and countless other smaller operators and organisations, not forgetting their very own customers as well.

Now they're the ones getting their asses handed to them, and it is way too interesting to simply ignore, and simply ask for this issue to be dropped.

The 8800GTS 512Meg with G92 core was way better and cheaper than the 8800GTS 320 with the G80 core.

and the 9800GT was basically a 8800GTS 512Meg.

Thanks for proving my point. :)

As a noob when it comes to graphics cards, I always assumed a 9800 must be better than an 8800. After all it's the bigger number. But now you say they're basically the same.

So, you're saying Nvidia pulled a 'Cell C' here. By giving a card a bigger model number than the previous one, they created the impression of a better card even though (according to you) it's not.

Just like Cell C called their 3G network 4G (and only much later 4Gs), creating the impression in the minds of normal consumers that it must be the new generation technology.
