CellC 200GIGA Query... help please.

I just got the 200giga from CellC.. kind of annoyed now.
The stupid CellC connector thing does not work and wont make a connection and when I go to the bottom right corner of the screen to connect to the network from my CellC USB E1725 modem it wont allow me to connect.. it says i have to give passwords and keys of which I do not have...

Anyway.. I'm connected to the 8ta desktop connection software. I do not know the number of the sim.. as i deleted it with that stupid "fancy" connector cellc makes.
How can I change the password thing so that I can connect immediately from the network centre, when I click properties I do not see the drop down menu that states I can choose "always stay connected"
and also where can I download a proper connector and how do I know what my number is?

Another problem... Ive been connected to the internet now for 25 minutes... Ive only been on this site and started this thread. no other data consuming programs are running... Ive lost 13mb already... why?

Windows, virus and even Adobe reader automatic updates, any program installed on your PC can be responsive for this. You must inspect individually settings for each application which is allowed to run on startup.

Is it not the PIN you need to enter? You can remove the pin by placing it in a cell phone and going to security settings. To see which program is using data best would be to install a firewall.

To find the number either send a sms to yourself or place the sim in a phone and dial *147# or *1# on some models.

I am able to use USSD functions with the 8ta software... hold on im uploading images with my problems.

I am connected with 8tas software...

and nothing is running any data on this computer... its asif the data runns quicksly... I went to speedtest.net and the test toook 10mbs.. wtf

Well doing a speedtest does take data as you are uploading and downloading to measure your speed.

You can look into alternative diallers maybe.

MDMA, MWCOMM, ZTE's Join Air, Huawei's Mobile Partner etc.

Or you can simply create a network dial up profile under windows and then click on it.
You can also look at getting a mobile router to cut out the frustration of modem errors etc.

The error about the software being disabled due to failed automatic license activation is probably the reason it won't open anymore.
Try uninstalling/reinstall the software or contacting their support desk. Is the modem compatible with the software or did you get it from another service provider?

I have the same issue!! I used all my daytime data on my first Giga200 package the other day and then got another one, put the sim on the CellC 7Mb modem and started the app, then got that same message.

I actually used to use the old CellC connection software and manually flashed the new Connector software ages ago which, in my opinion, is a step backwards. So anyway, I re-flashed the modem to the old software but then used the new Connector. Then I got another Giga200 sim the other day, plugged it in and started the software and then that message. Luckily I still had the old software flashed on the modem and installed that and it worked, must say the old software connects a lot faster than the Connector software. But I use a router now to connect so don't use the software that much.

Also affected by CellC's network issues now, started yesterday, connection hangs, keep refreshing until the page loads, quite irritating.
