Sneaky basterds releasing this during the holidays so no one notices... OOB is good but all the rest not great, supacharge timeframes make it practically useless. Gonna load up on the xMB per month deals or data will cost me a lot more as I only used the supacharge megs.

Saw GigaNite 20GB will now be R199 ... coming from R189. Wonder if AfriHost Mobile has anything sweeter than GigaNite 20.

Yip... maybe time for me to look at Telkom Mobile. They're looking more and more attractive every day.
I don't think I will be using Telkom Mobile anytime soon....their network coverage is extremely weak where I stay in East London, and Port Elizabeth

Aren't you able to roam onto the MTN network when using Telkom Mobile? CellC customers can roam on Vodacom.
Hmm.. My contract expires on the 25th of Dec.. and im downgrading to a month-to-month chatmore 0; which is 79c a minute at the moment... I don't see a mention of what happens to this one.... wonder if it falls away and i get pushed into the StraightUp 0...

Maybe data, but not voice calls. some one I know can only phone where there is a cell c tower.
Nope calls work perfectly fine. My entire family uses TM and we've had no issues on the few occasions where we do roam

It works for calls, of that I am sure of, used roaming on vodacom when returning from my holiday on the orange river a year ago. ago.

Yikes. Prepaid data will be expensive now. I'm glad I jumped ship to Telkom Mobile about a month ago.
I don't understand how Cellc is increasing prices but everyone else is dropping prices? I mean Cellc got their name with the 99c 4 real package. Now they increasing the prices I don't think it will go down well with customers.
They don't have the best network and it has been proven many times so price was the only thing keeping the people coming but now the price increase especially on the prepaid data side does not look good.

smartdata prepaid is not changing at least.. I am on the 66c bundle, not sure if it changes, but thats the one that suits me the best.
Not for high usage. Their top end deal has been stagnant for 3 years.
