CellC Sim question (Welcome Pack Duo Sim)

I received this sim card with a phone I bought through FNB a few months back.
I never activated it as I just used my Vodacom sim in the phone. Now I have a extra laptop with a 3G modem built in so want to use the Cellc sim in the laptop.

Can I just use this sim, or should I rather buy a new one on a data package from CellC?
I suppose I need to activate/register the sim before I can use it... but before I do that want to know if it makes a difference what sim you use for data only...

If you received the sim with an FNB device, the sim should be RICA'd/ active. Otherwise it shouldn't make a difference which sim you use. PM me the sim number I will check. *DM*

Thanks, I see it does connect to the CellC network now, so probably is activated, can trace and ping but not browse

I actually have no idea what the number is, and no application on the laptop to send a sms to my phone, default windows driver that currently handles the modem, will see if I can put it in a phone and send a sms to pick up the number. Will then forward it to you thanks.
