Cellphone and tracking question

Can anybody answer my question please.

I am on a mobile phone I bought at a taxi rank I then I bought another persons simcard to use so nothing is in my name now say the saps or ni was looking to make sure I am not in contact with anybody and they do a cell tower triangulation to look for broadcasts on say a farm how accurate in say meters can they pinpoint the signal.

Yes I know it sounds crazy but part of my sentence is I am not allowed to communicate with the outside and have had my laptop and phone removed

To not cause proplems for the owner of this wewebsite I am not using real name nor will I discuss the why.

Let's say this is all a hypothetical question.

And say I use a phone to pick up wifi and don't use a sim will it cloak

Appologies for spelling or grammer mistakes English is not my first language and this phone is bloody small keyboard.
 
Don't have any answers, but your story, er your 'hypothetical' story, sounds fascinating.
 
Looking for signal from a specific place has millimeter accuracy. You just keep walking in the direction the signal is getting stronger. Cellphones don't constantly emit signals however. Tracking a specific phone/number can triangulate the position to within some meters but requires knowing the number first.
 
Cell tower triangulation, gets more accurate with movement....

So don't move, oh and ignore the sirens they not for you :D

Left the phone on hidden by my gate all-night and it was not picked up.

But attorney says I can go collect my stuff on thursday except for my firearms.

How do I delete this conversation since it served it purpose.

Can somebody delete this please.

If NI was interested in you then you'd be long gone by now.

I don't think it should be deleted. If someone else finds themselves in the same predicament you are in they'd have to re-ask the questions you so eloquently asked :D
 
Let me explain this, I can for example, if you give your cell number, track you within a few meters.
It costs a lot of money but it can be done, they give long and lat and shows on a map. This is the quick way

Normally this is done via 205 Subpoena and Its usually used for serious things. This is the long way.
If NIA or Crime intel. want to do it, its pretty easy. Networks can also do it very easily.
People who buy stolen property should be sent to jail, for good.

Yes, but they need to follow the same route now. I requested some information from a friend at one of the "intel communities" and was told that due to internal RICA/etc request abuse they have to put in requests with case numbers.

Ways around everything problem is most people when they get the info, they use it and that's where the problem comes
