Is this stuff good, cause i am looking for something to clear facial marks and scratches. which are the best on the market nowadays or should i just go to a dermatologist.

Its a pharmaceutical grade lotion designed for dermatology. Only a pharmacy (at least in my part of town) will sell it (its not scheduled just expensive), I know some alpha pharms sell it but im not to sure if clicks and the other big players have it. If you looking for a lotion to take care of your skin, even out skin tones and keep it healthy and nice. Then yes this product will help you. They also have an excellent face wash.

HOWEVER

it is not meant for medical treatment. If you have scaring you will have to see a dermatologist as they will prescribe you retinoid peeling agents to apply and then a lotion of this calibur to maintain your skin's integrity. Though its depends on how bad your scaring is. Certain scars only laser will be able to lift, so I cant say here without a physical examination weather a GP will suffice or a specialist is required.

Its also got proper research done on the lotions that where published in dermatology journals (google it), they have a whole range. I would advise if it doesnt hurt you finanically and your skin is in rough shape (not pathologically) then yes buy it, else a standard lotion should do just fine. They have a whole range for all types of skin but the full range is not available yet as they just launched.

The ladies might not prefer it over the body shop stuff because it doesnt smell as nice as their stuff but make no mistake this lotion is superior (probably cheaper).

Don't worry ... my question will not be that difficult.

You would either be able to answer my question with ease ... or no pharmacist would be able to answer it (because it's not answerable).

Yup ask them to order it for you. Gosh maybe I should get a repping job for them lol

lol I dont know everything, im sure if I cant answer it there is someone who can :erm:

Sorry but ask who to order it for you? Isn't it an overseas comoany?

Pharmacy, they will know what you talking about. Ask the PHARMACIST not the assistants acting like pharmacists :p

I dont know about franchise pharmacies they bound by formularies, alpha-pharm has it. You can try dischem ask them to order it for you.

Where is your pharmacy? In JHB? Would rather Give you business

LOL, thanks for that sir but I do not own a pharmacy. I used to work in the hospitals, now im trying to specialise in manufacture and design, so im not working at the moment.

Its too difficult to compete with Clicks, dischem ect pharmacists dont open pharmacies these days.

edit:

also im waiting for my toyota  .... sigh :(

Thanks for all your help and tips. Much appreciated. I think the best is to rather see a dermatologist. I have medical aid with guavamint, but will make sure if they do cover treatment. If they say that i don't need lazer treatment, then a lotion treatment will probably good enough. But i will still find out more about BIODERMA.

NO medical aid will pay for laser. Its seen as cosmetic treatment. If they suggest laser ask if a simple chemical peel will not suffice. I had to do laser is was damn expensive.
