Cellular Network Tower Locations

I came across the following website:

which shows the locations of the towers for MTN, Cell C and Vodacom. Useful if you setting up a directional antenna. Any one knows what the tower heat map function displays?

Try the zoom in/out and drag the map

It would be great if the data were actually usable, but I know of quite a few towers in my area that are not displayed on the map.
