Cellular Repairs - Gauteng - HTC HD2 screen

I'm looking for a 3rd Party cell-phone repair person/shop in the Jbg/Pta area.

My HTC HD2 screen is cracked (my fault ... butterfingers ) & that's not covered under the warrentee. The device still works perfectly ... even the cracked portion of the screen still works (graphics & touch)

Leaf estimates R1500 - R1800 (they haven't looked at it yet) & I REALLY don't want to pay that if I don't have to.

Suggestions?

I have had the same thing happen to me. I sent my phone in even though I could use the phone still. I had to pay R2300 for the repairs. New glass is R1600.00 Chassis R150.00 Tamper stickers etc R 20.00 and Labour R281.

Total cost including Vat R2338.25.

The problem is that they might not have screens available and then repair can take about 2 weeks.

Ouch! That's almost 1/2 the price of the new device!
