Census: Internet use up, users' trust down

Not really a surprising outcome.

When you've got broadband, you'll more than likely spend more time on the net but so do online dangers as you're permanently connected to the 'net.
 
See - telkom is protecting us by actively discouraging us from spending too much time online. They prob figure if you can afford 24/7 access you can afford insurance too.

I think dumpster diving is a bigger threat here in SA - esp now that those pre-approved credit cards applicatons are showing up in post boxes. Buy a shredder and make confetti out of everything you're not going to keep.
 
People in Alaska stay inside because of the climate , we stay inside because of the crime , but we cant even do that anymore trying to be online means crime from the start ... TELKOM
 
INteresting to note that Alaska has 68 % internet access given the weather conditions there!

What does weather conditions have anyting to do with internet access?
