I have a Centurion D5 evo sliding gate motor.
It has worked fine for years. Yesterday it kept opening again after closing. I cleaned some dirt from the tracks near where front wheel reached at end of closing movement just in case there was resistance from dirt. It now runs fairly freely by hand.
So that issue is ok.
I thought I should just reset gate limits again. Went to the lcd menu and went through setup wizard to reset limits.
It finds stop 1 (closed position) fine. It finds stop 2 position (open position) fine. And both times that the origin magnet passes the origin sensor I can hear a click and lcd screen at that moment says "origin on left" and "origin on right". So origin message does seem to go through.
As soon as it finished the limit setting process and has found stop 2 (fully open) the screen says "Setup Fail Origin Not Found"
I have tried it about 30 times now. I have run it free hand and engaged motor to start rest procedure from different positions and same result: Origin Not Found. If it says origin not found you just can't use the gate. The origin on gate looks fine and is bolted into position just like it always was.
I unplugged DOSS harness from PC board and immediately LCD screen beeps and says that DOSS not detected. (So I assume pc board is picking up DOSS ok because when I plug it back in the lcd screen is happy).
I have done factory reset. No change.
I have unplugged both battery and mains and replugged them in. No change. Battery voltage is 13.4V and charging voltage is 14.1V.
Anyone know what to do?
