Gerard Lopez: Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas Asked Me For Advice On Barcelona Return
One of the Blaugrana’s former young stars has revealed a conversation he had with the Arsenal star.

“Cesc asked me for advice and he asked me what it was like for me to return to Barcelona,” Lopez told Canal Catala programme, ‘La Ronda’.

“I believe that he will come back. Any player who was brought up by Barca’s youth categories will always succeed at the Camp Nou one day.

No way, not yet. Give it a few years - you'll get a better player.

Barca don't need him. He's not even in a starting eleven for Spain AFAIK.

Can't remember which of Iniesta or Xavi is the ageing one. It's calld new blood mate and they need to form a partnership (which would be scary, tbh)...

Ya, one can only think that he would be the replacement for Xavi.

Xavi replaces Pep, Cesc replaces Xavi.

busquets for iniesta? hvent seen how busquets plays so don't really know if he is a like for like replacement...

No, Busquets is more like a Yaya Toure. I guess you can say he might fill Xavi's boots one day but Xavi is very very attack minded.

Busquets, Keita and Yaya fall in the same category.

Though I had read somewhere he is more defense minded... Then again, they could make a pairing similar to Fab & Flam last season... With three attacker behind a central striker. Think about it... Bojan will eventually have to move behind the striker/s because he is just way too small to play as an out 'n out.

Bojan is a legend in the making. Only had a handful of starts this season and already has 9 goals.
