Change admin username on D-link DSL-300 T

Hello I have the above modem at home Upgraded to version 2
firmware(adsl2/2+).Since the up grade i cant seem to find where
to change the admin username.I am still able to change the password.
I would apreciate it if anyone can help me TIA.

With my experience with D-Links, you couldn't change the username - it was always admin.

This might of changed in later versions though.

Unfortunately, one still can't change the admin and user usernames, but only the account passwords.

Thakyou for the swift responses guys.I never checked before i
upgraded firmware.I assumed you could change them.

Would be more secure if you could.any d-link reps in here????

We're talking about changing the admin username, not password....

Yeah i can change the password but not the username

Username = admin (can't change this)

Password = admin (can change this)

So then it is a problem with the new firmware.
Any one else upgraded to v2 firmware???

yes and cannot change the username, so i'm paranoid about changing the password
