Changes?

OK, so I have moved.

Telkom are slow, I asked my aunt to use her iBurst while I wait for Telkom (as I cannot live without internet for long).

She has the 40MB package as she does not really use it much.

Soo, got it yesterday and it had 120MB due to her not using it for the past few months.

Started downloading and the speeds seem to be those of which I'd get on a 512K line. Today, I have the same thing.
Did iBurst downgrade to 512K from 1Mbit?


Also is there perhaps anything else that has changed?

iBurst during the day averages around 300 kbps and late in the evening 900 kbps.

I've never reached 1000 kbps, so 512 kbps is average.

Indeedies........Tis really location dependant but *most* people I know don't hit more than 512kbps download speeds during the day, guess you were connected to one of those luckily uncongested towers before?
