Hi, I've just started building my first website with Joomla 1.5 and I've got a very newbie question :o - How do I change the standard "joomla" banner at the top of the standard template so that it displays my logo?

Thanks:)

Hmmm...how did i do that again...go to templates->Milkway(Or whatever template your using)-->Images and replace the site logo image with your logo. I think its called nw_sitelogo.png.
Not at home now so i cant check to be sure but im sure you'll find the joomla logo there.
Make sure that you rename your logo nw_sitelogo.png aswell, otherwise it wont work.

Thanks :), I couldn't find the "nw_sitelogo.png" but I replaced the "mw_joomla_logo.png" but my logo but it gets cut off. It that my logo must be the same size as the old joomla logo :(

Yeah sorry thats what i meant.
you have to change the css template to make the logo bigger...
templates-->milkway-->css-->>template.css
I'm not sure what the default size is because i changed mine to 950 by 85. Check the image size of the default joomla logo, then in the template css file change the default image size to the size that you want.

your best friend will be google + joomla 1.5 forums.
That's where i got most of the answers from.
