Quick question..... I want to replace the inner H3 bulbs but the thing is that they have a wire on them with a terminal on the end... Now on the old bulbs where the terminal attaches to the car wire... there is a rubber sheath that goes over it that is quite tight, I can't slot it off to connect the new bulb, is there a way to do it, or must it be cut off?

The sheath comes off, and the bulb can be removed. DO NOT CUT any wires!

No I was talking about cutting the sheath not wires!!!

So do I just pull it off really hard? Cause it's TIGHT...

Then how do I get it back on?

Sure it doesnt twist through 90 degrees first and then come out?

As far as I can remember, the sheath can be loosened...try slipping a fine screw driver under the rubber, and loosen it that way. If you cut it off it will allow water in and you will be going through bulbs at a huge rate of knots.

sorry my misunderstanding, thought you were talking about the bulb itself. A lot of the plastic to plastic connectors have male/female lugs on the side that snap together when closed. You usually need to pry them upor depress them with a screwdriver , before they part company.

Thanks guy I managed to figure it out.

I just needed to pull on the light's cord, and then it came out and free from the sheath, then I just plugged the terminal from the new bulb into the sheath and the connector on the other wire.

Didn't need to move the sheath at all...
