Hi there,

Has anyone gone through the process of switching FNOs while maintaining your ISP?

I'd like to switch from Octotel to Openserve to leverage their static IP service but I'm not sure if this change could cause more problems than what I intend for it to resolve.

There's no such thing as switching. You will need to cancel your current Octotel line with the ISP and then apply for a new Openserve line through the same ISP. The smoothest way to do this so that you don't have any interruption in service is to order the new line and only cancel the old line once the new line is working.

Will cause double billing but at the end of the day you have no break in connectivity.

With Afrihost you can submit a relocation via Clientzone and select a date so the two overlap.

Just take into account, doing so now will have the new order subject to the holiday freeze periods by the FNO's.
