Changing google search from .com to .co.za in Internet Explorer

Why on earth would you want to use Internet Explorer??? 
Yeah... but anyway.... when you Google... this is what you come up with....

Ha, not me, my brother that is using it. Don't know why... I stopped asking.
Go to the one you prefer and set that as the home page?
I prefer .com and then only select pages from SA if I want to limit the search to SA pages.
Or select the one you prefer and save it under your favorites folder. And then open from the favorites folder

LOL firefox fanboi! There's nothing wrong with IE, The question is why on earth would you want the hassle of keeping more than one browser up-to-date on your PC?

type http://google.com and wham it coes to google.co.za I want the com and not the co,za when I want to search the world and not just SA?
Slecting te above link for .com I go to...co.za ?

ah, yes... Google automatically assumes you would want to search from your local... what you have to do is to click the link two rows below the search field to the right that says "Go to Google.com"
The default search field in Firefox in the search bar at the top right is also set to Google.com... same with IE.

/ Esih.. met eish ja was there all along. Must read the small print as well 
You can enter http://www.google.com/ncr/ in your address bar, and it will stop it from automatically redirecting. You'll always end up on the google.com page from then on. The NCR stands for 'No Country Redirect', I think. A little trick not many know about
