Changing my IP

Heeeyyy People!

HA! This is my first post!

Anyways, my friend was at my house and we played a game on the PC, he spammed in the chat channel and I got IP banned. This happened to me before, so I just disconnect from my ADSL account and then reconnect to get a new IP. But weirdly, my IP isnt changing!! Its been more than 24 hours, but no luck! Im on the Do3 Broadband so im with Telkom on a SAIX account. So, does anyone have an idea on how to change my IP? Its annoying to be banned!

Hey thanx for the link, but unfortunately that thing doesnt want to install the drivers, it gives me an error, probably because I have Windows Vista 64bit. Any other ideas tho?

Your external IP is changing. Your internal one is not (and should not). Go read up on NATs.
 
Nope!! I've tested using another internet source and I connected to the server, its my ISP IP thats banned. "IP Address 18.899.504.69" - Thats been the same for like more than 24 hours. Plus its frustrating :mad:

Try and do a full reboot of your router, power the thing off and let it stay down for about 10 minutes. Then restart it and try to connect again.

I've found that our IP stays constant at work after Telkom terminates the sessions, but restarting the router causes it to get a new address.

Thanx! It appears im not IP banned anymore :D but now my account has been locked.. sigh

The game is warcraft frozen throne.. Dont think its hosted by SAIX. Some of the admins on there are queer, thats also a reason why I'm banned

*laughing...... I'm betting there are a few SAIX admins read these forums... familiar with the word doomed? Shame man....:D
