I've got a 80 dk, paladin, warlock and hunter and would like to reroll a new char. I was thinking either a warrior, shaman or druid. What is easier to level? I would go the dps way, since I don't like healing or tanking. Any recommendations?

warrior dps vs paladin/dk dps - too much the same imo
ive got a warrior shaman and warlock
so u having a warlock and a dk id go with shaman :)
personal preference tho, play each of them to like 20 and decide

Shaman and Druid have an advantage in that you can easily choose to go melee or ranged depending on your mood. I just levelled a warrior myself, after 4yrs of promising myself I would, and I love it but if you don't enjoy tanking then you only getting 50% of the deal and I'd rather go with one of the other two.

I have to agree, I also just leveled a warrior after wanting one since original open beta of WoW. That is a long time but now I do enjoy the class to its most, although I am actually tanking 99% of the time except when I go to pvp. There is way too many things to do on a warrior, especially when you tank or pvp, dps still seems somewhat simplistic.

What I currently miss, is a char that can dps from range, since all my characters are melee based.

Paladin - Tank or Melee dps, I don;t really heal on it, I find that other classes are doing it easier
Warior - Tank or Melee dps
Rogue - Melee dps

druid <3 only class in game that fits any roll. tank, heal, range dps, melee dps.

Shammys are awesome! enh duel wield + wind fury = no contest. I've played mage, hunter, priest, pally (a little), i feel the shammy is the most fun i've playd.

Thanks for all the replies. I've rolled a shaman last night. Bought him some heirlooms shoulders and chest. Was wondering is it worth it to buy the heirlooms 2 handed weapon now and again at level 40 - 2 one hands since he is going duelwielding then, or should I rather just do the level 40 ones a bit later and leave the weapon for now?

Dude, buy heirloom 2x 1 handed maces or axes. Getting upgrades through dungeons in TBC is stupidly impossible. The only upgrades i got was the Grunts waraxe from thrallamer. its 52 dps at lvl 60, not bad but a heirloom item would be much better. Up to level 40 i used a 2handed weapon but they become obsolete once you get duel wield.

I've got a lvl 80 mage and priest. Both a LOT of fun to play and level (I leveled my Priest as holy...that was not so much fun :p)

Busy leveling a Warrior and as my first melee, I am enjoying myself a hell of a lot :D CHARGE! Heroic Strike! Execute! Dead! :D

If you've got 4 80's, why would you want something EZ to level? It would only mean getting to 80 quickly once more, getting bored and rerolling yet again.

Srsly though, 4 80's and you hate healing or tanking, and want to make yet another dps toon? Redundancy much? Whats the point, really? Like the world (... of warcraft) needs yet an other dps...
I'd really advise taking on a different role, even if in a purely offspec capacity. Playing a different character to dps with isn't going to make the dps role much more fun. They're all the same when it comes down to it. Press 2 buttons and watch for a proc or two, and not stand in a fire. Rince repeat. Tanking or healing otoh is much more challenging and as a result, fun. I'm tanking on my warrior by mostly running instances on rested XP and it's great. Challenging

Agree with Skurm. dps is dps at the end of the day. If you have a warlock and a hunter, a mage will be boring. if you have a dk, so will melee dps. Challenge yourself and roll a warrior to tank :D

I found tanking with a paladin to be boring. Never got a druid past lvl 10, so cant comment there. Imo warriors where made to tank. Nothing like standing toe-toe with a dragon and slapping it.

Funny thing is.. thats YOUR opinon, and if he likes dps then he likes dps and wish him luck in it, i love healing on my druid, but i hate dpsing on him. worst possible thing to dps with, but a good friend of my one of the best feral druids on our realm loves it, all to our own, cant dis the guy becuase he likes dps and not tanking or healing.

*edit* And skurm, if its so horrible why do u still play and if its so horrbile to lvl to 80 and have nothing to do why did u rol 4? i have 4 80's myself busy with my shammy next wich is 77 now and my mage 75 my warrior 73. i enjoy lvling and getting to 80. i have lots to do and thats why i play the game since beta when it was 1st released. My suggestion to you is quit the game if its not fun

I would def go shammy id you like to dps, they can do both ranged and mele. There is very little down time and their survivability is pretty decent.

I got 2 heirloom items to lvl with 2 1h weps as well. I leveled pretty fast.

If you want extra leveling speed get a epic flying mount so you can fly directly to the mob/quest location and flyback turn in rinse and repeat and you will be 80 in no time.

I would say if you like to do DPS... go with a pure-dps class.... Sure its fine and nice to go hybrid in the sence you can do other roles when you feel like it, but you will get dishearted pushing everything into your dps rotations as a hybrid, and still being outdps'd by a scrub geared pure-dps class.

The only hybrid class that tends to crush dps meters is unholy Dk's with multiple adds involved like Anube heroic.

I have been playing the hunter class for 4 years now, and I am still not bored with it. Then again, I dont like healing / tanking....

Its all up to your playstyle and what you prefer...

Working through some of the recent ICC content, as melee DPS it's really struck home once again how much of an advantage ranged DPS has. Being able to nuke putricides blobs sooner, being able to juggle the Blood Princes orbs properly, being able to kite Saurfangs adds etc etc etc. If I were to reroll a class today, it would probably be a hunter or warlock.

The skurm meister speaks the truth... Melee class on our latency is stupidly frustrating... sure sure you can get use to it by adapting your playstyle ... but forget about PVP with melee dps. Try to hit a rogue running circles around you with a melee dps class.
My DK is good for one thing... herb farming. Nothing frustrates me more than that annoying message "Not in range of target" Yet on my screen I am right next to the boss / mob / allie whatever. Even on 190 Ms, its still blatantly obvious ...

Save yourself a LOT of frustration and stick with ranged dps dude....
