I have a 45W magsafe Macbook charger. The small cord snapped. Before I purchase another one at great expense, I wanted to find out if it's possible to repair them?

It might be a little tricky but I don't know of any reason why you cannot repair it.

It's an easy repair - just two wires to join iirc.

It's a coax wire. Problem is they break right at the sleeve by the charger case and you have no slack to work with
Easiest way is buy a cable on eBay for like 5 dollah, then crack the case open and solder the new cable onto the board

If it broke at the sleeve… he's not been very clear where it broke.
