So need advice on something. I'm using a OnePlus One, and I'm confused

Charging via AC takes ages to charge up, but charging via a small 2500mah power bank works fine.

Do I assume that Cable and power block is faulty?

I have tried a few generic cables as well, but same issues. Charging time while device is on is non existent, unless I turn it completely off.

However, with the power bank, I can use the device, and the %charge would increase. I'm a bit baffled by this.

What is the mAh rating of the charger vs the power bank? Ideally Lithium batteries want to charged at a low and steady charge rating to avoid heating and crystal growth. but if the charger is faulty it is also not good.

The charger you use has not got enough amps.

When I charge my phone with a china shop charger it take 8 hours before full. I saw a man with a pakistan cable, which was also too thin and could not charge the phone. so, it is your charger or cable.

Doesn't show mah, but it's a Samsung Travel adapter, that showing 5.0v and 2.0a output

Im going to assume that every cable I have is wonky, which is kind of strange

I'm assuming it's this as well.. It's a 2.0a block. Any recommendation on a good charger out there? I'll have to check with my suppliers as well, to see what Chargers they have

Did the OPO have Dash Charging? Try it with a QC charger if you can get your hands on one to test. Worth investing in if compatible.

I am not sure hey, I will check on that.. All in all, despite being an old device, it's really been an awesome experience. I flashed Resurrection Remix, and the battery life has been unbelievable good. Just trying to see why the charging issue seems to be so much different between different plugs and cables

I'm possibly looking at shipping or finding a One Plus X

Why don't you use the charger that came with your phone?
