Need to get my grandfather a new car asap, looking for something that is automatic, just to get from a-b, So far the cheapest new car I have seen priced on the net is the Chevrolet spark, don't think it comes in automatic.

What do you recommend?
Going to spend tomorrow driving around all the car shops and see what we can find.
Willing to look at demo or second hand.

I know that the spark does have an automatic option.

I'd suggest the Kia Rio ( I am driving one from the insurance company at the moment, and it's awesome ), but I am not sure if there's an auto gearbox.

Does it need to be brand new?
Scratch that, saw your second hand/demo thingy.

What age would you say is the oldest you'd look for?

Have a look at the Daihatsu Charade. My father bought the automatic model three years ago and he's very happy with it.

Second hand would have to still have a warranty of at least a year or two.

That will just rust to schite within 2 months in durbs.
