cheap .co.za domain names

Can any 1 tell me where I can get a cheapish .co.za domain for my site? I know http://co.za gives them for very cheap at only R50 per year but they dont include DNS. I want a domain name that is cheapish side and it should have DNS included. thanks :D
 
Not a clue.
Try this:
1 - Get a gmail email account.
2 - Make dead sure it's working.
3 - Register @ www.zonedit.com.
4 - Add your domain that you want to register there.
5 - Fil in co.za's forms and email them PLAIN TEXT only to the co.za admin email address.
6 - Pay co.za R50.

The problem with having somebody else do that for you is that it becomes difficult to get rid of them and keep your domain name.
 
You won't get them cheaper than that -- R50 from the source :)

You can get free dns:
everydns.net
zoneedit.com
mydomain.com

If you want a free domain too, get a za.net domain (but be prepared to wait a week or two for the registration to be processed)

Unless they're an ethical hosting company. Some companies (like mweb and telkom) register the domain in their name and not yours, and it's very difficult to take control if you decide to move elsewhere.
 
Ok thanks for the help guys. R50 is fine Ill pay that ill even pay R100 but not R150 per year. Thats kinda a rip off. ill try what you guys suggested. thanks for the help!

The Renewal is R50 a year(thats the cost from UniformZA)
 
I have found a host that is really good. A member sent me a pm. tell me what you think. The prices are extemely cheap.

Monthly fee R20
Disk space 500mb
Bandwidth 10GB
+ Free .co.za domain.

Or the same package and if I pay 1 year a head Which is R240 I get 50% discount and it Will only cost me R120. Then I can get the domain @ UniformZA for R50 or at them for R70 per year. Its not bad. They have cheap hosting actually.

Rather use Texo, U get 1gb disk space/8gb transfer and lots of other features. (Texo is also a member here)

or Try Serv, they around R27 for 1gb disk space/12.5gb transfer and lots of ther features including 10 add on domains.

We use both Serv & Texo and get excellent service.

Thanks i have checked their prices not too bad but I don't really need all that recources. That is not needed. The features that texo,serv and Kalahari hosting have is basicly the same. Just the disk space and bandwidth that is different. I will be running a forum and a CMS so its not massive recource hungry so all that disk space 1GB is actually way to much. 500mb is fine for me. Thanks for the info :)

+1 for Texo. Forget about everyone else. Just register your domain through them.

If you buy directly from COZA now its been upped to R75 per year. You pay less if you have EPP, thus service providers might give it to you for less, you are looking for name server hosting.

This company seems to provide the registration and name server hosting at R75 (Just make sure they add your email address as the "admin" on the domain): http://www.webhosting4southafrica.co.za/domains/domain-name-registration.html

This company seems to provide free name server hosting but you need to buy the R75 domain yourself: http://www.vps.co.za/free-dns-hosting
