Cheap LTE dongles / devices

The prices locally for a decent LTE-capable Hauwei dongle is quite high. Has anyone imported one from an international store or ebay seller that does the job? Or even cheap local options would be welcome.

Also I bought a few things from an online store a while back (they were based in China afaik) but I can't remember what the site was - they sold all kinds of gadgets and techy things for real cheap. Any ideas?

1. Latest price for Vodacom K5006 from HiFiCorp is R1389.
2. This probably does not support Telkom/8ta LTE if that is what you want.
3. K5006 is older spec LTE Cat3 while E3276s is LTE Cat4.
4. K5006 manufacturer can be either Huawei or ZTE.

I have a relative coming over from the UK shortly, what type of device can I ask for her to bring over??

Are there any specific things she should be looking out for when purchasing?

Which router do you have? I have a Telkom Huawei LTE dongle and am looking for a compatible router to plug it in.
 
Jeez this was a long but informative read as I was looking at buying the Huawei B593 router. However, after all this info I'm now not sure what and where to buy and was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction.

Here is my info and question marks:
1. Already installed antennae is an Expo 002 Cross Polarised LTE 2013 model (I have no idea what this means and got the info from the installer)
2. I need to run my phone and laptop off the LTE modem and I it needs to plug with a cable into my Media Player (Mede8er X3D) so I can stream movies and YouTube.
3. I have an MTN LTE SIM card in an MTN LTE coverage area
4. Do I buy the: a) Huawei B593
b) Huawei B880-7
c) ZTE MF 253 Modem
5. Should I buy any of the above, where the heck to I buy it from?

PS: The guy that installed my antennae can sell me the B593 router at R 1900 installed and set up. I'm not sure I want to buy from him though in case the router needs to be repaired in future.
